As a U.S. Air Force Reserves veteran, Justin understands what service means and what veterans are owed when they come home.
What Justin Is Doing
- Legislative Leadership: Serves as the Ranking Minority Member on the Joint Committee on Veterans and Federal Affairs, fighting for impactful policy changes.
- Veteran Supporting Veterans: Brings firsthand experience as a 29-year U.S. Air Force Reserves veteran to fiercely protect the hard-earned benefits of our service members.
- Cutting Through Red Tape: Pushing for state-wide changes that will help veterans successfully navigate bureaucracy to access the healthcare and benefits they have earned.
- Hands-on Community Service: Actively participates in local veterans' ceremonies and parades, frequently volunteering to speak, serve food, and handle event setup and cleanup. He always goes the extra mile, which recently included personally helping a local veteran move into assisted living.
As the Ranking Minority Member on the Joint Committee on Veterans and Federal Affairs, Justin works tirelessly to ensure Massachusetts veterans receive the benefits, services, and deep respect they have rightfully earned. A U.S. Air Force Reserves veteran himself, Justin brings firsthand experience to his advocacy.
He is a constant, hands-on presence at local veterans' ceremonies, parades, and community events like the Christ Church Veterans Breakfast, as well as annual Veterans Day and Memorial Day observances. Deeply committed to honoring those who served, Justin also makes it a personal priority to attend the funerals of unaccompanied veterans with no immediate family so that no soldier is ever buried alone. He effectively leverages his office and committee role to help constituents secure medical care, utility assistance, housing support, employment resources, and state veteran benefits, always maintaining a steadfast focus on serving his fellow veterans across the 5th Bristol District.
