Accountability

Audit the Legislature

Beacon Hill should be accountable to the people it serves. Justin stood with the 72% of Massachusetts voters who supported auditing the legislature before he took office and continues to fight for that accountability today.

What Justin Is Doing

  • Stood with the 72% of Massachusetts voters who supported auditing the legislature before taking office.
  • Continues to publicly back the State Auditor's mandate to bring transparency to Beacon Hill.
  • Pushes for the legislature to operate in the open, like every other branch of state government.

When voters speak this clearly, lawmakers should listen. The State Auditor was given a clear mandate by an overwhelming majority of voters to bring transparency to a body that has resisted oversight for far too long.

Justin is working with colleagues on both sides of the aisle to make sure the audit happens, that its findings are public, and that the legislature operates in the open, the way every other branch of government in Massachusetts is expected to.
